It scans your hard drive and tells you of any available updates for your installed programs.

UpdateStar scans your PC looking for installed software products, and generates an inventory of your PC´s programs and any updates available for them. It also gives you download links and any additional information.

UpdateStar doesn´t only work with known programs, but also works to obtain data update information on any freeware or shareware available on the web. UpdateStar resides by default on the system tray and periodically checks for updates, according to your indications: daily, weekly or monthly.

You can personalize the list of products to watch, ignore certain updates or programs, and collaborate with the program authors to improve their precision and range.
